There is something about bonding different art forms and connecting with people on various levels that make what I do worth it. Finding time to keep up with my images and get them properly photographed has become increasingly difficult, but I'm determined to push through.

3 of my paintings just got accepted into another gallery show! This will be my second ever and just this year. It's been all too easy. I've been told my numerous artists that it takes a lot just to submit, but I think it's harder to keep creating and forcing yourself to see more in your work than your own self-doubt. Not every piece is going to be your magnum opus. Sometimes you just have to let yourself make something, anything. It's up to everyone else to find value in your work. The most difficult aspect of being a modern artist is keeping up with what you create. I have been painting and always love to create but having the time and space to do quality shots and get them posted is sometimes a struggle. Last year brought new avenues. I sold some paintings, got into a magazine, and had a small merchandise company opt one of my designs. What is it about January that gets us in that, "what did I do and what do I need to do" mind frame? Whatever it is, yesterday I received my first acceptance into an art show.
